Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin and is involved in the production of red blood cells in the body. Like Cordyceps, B12 has an effect on metabolism and the nervous system. Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin. Unlike other B vitamins, the body does store a small amount of B12, but up to a certain maximum. Above this maximum, B12 is excreted by the body.
